This stainless steel braided flexible hose forms part of the oil pressure gauge system, providing the flexible connection between the engine oil pressure take-off and the gauge pipe or sender arrangement, depending on model and year.
The flexible hose allows for normal engine movement and vibration while maintaining the oil pressure connection. These hoses can deteriorate with age and are worth inspecting for cracking, leakage or damage when servicing the oil pressure gauge system.
