Aftermarket mechanical fuel pump to suit A-Series engines originally fitted with a camshaft-driven mechanical fuel pump.
The pump is driven from the camshaft at the rear of the engine and is a replacement for worn or failed original mechanical fuel pumps. Supplied with mounting gaskets.
This is an aftermarket replacement. For the Genuine SU version, see AUF812 / AZX1818 Genuine SU.
Important Installation Note:
This pump requires the 12mm spacer block (GUG705603GM) between the pump and engine. Installation without the correct spacer may result in damage to the pump operating arm.
During installation, ensure the operating lever is correctly positioned against the camshaft lobe and not beside it. Incorrect positioning may damage the pump and prevent correct operation.
Please Note:
Some Sprite, Midget and Morris Minor A-Series engines have provision in the block for a mechanical fuel pump; however, the fitted camshaft may not have the required fuel-pump operating lobe. Please check your engine configuration before purchasing.
