14" Wire Wheel Rim Band – MGB – W914 / 452-740
Protective rim band designed for 14" wire wheels, providing a barrier between the inner tube and the spoke heads/nuts in the wheel well.
When using inner tubes with traditional wire wheels, a correctly fitted rim band helps protect the tube from rubbing against the spoke fittings and reduces the risk of punctures.
Manufactured from durable elastic rubber, the 45mm wide band fits securely around the wheel well and features a valve notch for correct alignment.
A purpose-made rim band is preferable to using insulation or similar tape, which can harden, lose adhesion or move over time.
