Product Description
Rear 5/8" bore wheel cylinder for Morris Mini Cooper S, Leyland Clubman GT and Mini/Moke fitted with Disc brakes (7.5" or 8.4") on the front. Require 2 per vehicle. See important note below.
If your car has drum brakes on the front:
- Mini / Moke with front twin leading shoe - (2 cylinders per drum - GWC126 / GWC127), then use part GWC1102. Normally from 1967 onwards.
- Mini 850 with front single leading shoe (1 dual acting cylinder per drum - GWC101), then use this cylinder (GWC1101). Only 850cc models, 1960 to 1967.
Note: for vehicles that did not have disc brakes fitted from the factory then it is more than likely the rear brake backing plate will require an additional hole to be drilled to fit these. This normally is found when converting the front brakes from drum to disc. The locating pin hole is in a different location depending on the type and size of wheel cylinder. Drum brakes use a different size bore wheel cylinder. If you need further information on this please contact us before purchasing.
